The members of the Congregational Care Team find joy in spiritually and emotionally supporting people facing health issues or other challenges. The team meets monthly to review any individual and family needs through prayer, phone calls, cards, and visitation. Through their service, the team helps people experience God’s love in painful seasons of life.
Usher/Greeters welcome people, collect the offering, and usher the congregation during Communion.
The Church of Maumelle is a friendly and welcoming worship community. The ushers and greeters offer a warm welcome to all who attend. Additionally they usher during the offering collection and during communion, and help with sign-in and name tags.
The Church of Maumelle shares in communion to connect with Jesus Christ- to celebrate his presence among us and to remember the gift of salvation he gave through his death on the cross. This good news is celebrated each Sunday. Volunteers serve the bread and juice to everyone who wishes to participate.
This team is responsible for the Sunday Morning Worship service slide presentation and all digital sound management. They also provide their assistance for any videos used for Bible study classes such as Women of Faith.
These dedicated church members serve behind the scenes to prepare the building for worship and other events. This group performs light cleaning and arranges chairs and tables for both special events and Sunday morning services. The team prepares an inviting facility for prayer, meditation and worship for members and guests. The group provides minor repairs to the facilities as needed.
On Sunday mornings the men of the Facilities Team enjoy a devotional after getting the building ready for worship.
The Prayer Team strengthens the prayer life of the congregation by providing a Monday Morning prayer focus text, inspirational scriptures, and a prayer table during Sunday worship.
Not everyone feels that they know how to pray. The Prayer Team offers encouragement and practical resources to strengthen the prayer life of the congregation. The team prays for the church and Pastor Aubrietta daily. The team meets quarterly to plan the Prayer texts that are sent out every Monday morning and to plan ways of promoting prayer among the congregation.
The weekly music leadership as well as seasonal choir have great fellowship through serving. Choir meets Mondays at 6:30 as needed for specific performance dates and weekly Worship Musicians meet every Thursday at 6pm. Music connects the people in this ministry area with God and each other.
Nothing is more important than helping children and youth connect with Jesus through Christian fellowship, worship, and the study of God’s Word. Children and Youth ministry volunteers offer a safe place for youth to share in fun, Christian service, and Bible study with their peers. All adults who work with this age group are background checked and are gifted for the ministry of teaching, chaperoning, and generally tending to youth and children.
